The company:

Profitable Web Projects is an Internet Marketing Agency based near Plaza Urquinaona, Barcelona. We have been established since 2005 and have recently partnered with a similiar sized technical outsourcing / web development business. Our new website will launch shortly.

SEO / AdWords Manager Position

Ideally we'd like to recruit a full or part-time employee but freelancers with a few days per week available may apply.

The role:

  • You will be working to lead delivery of and also to improve our ability to deliver
  • SEO fulfilment for both clients and investment projects.
  • We have a number of proprietary systems in various stages of development, one of which we plan to launch as a mass market product later this year - if you have the skills to lead this project which is born out of an internal need (it's our own dog food) whilst simultaneously delivering client SEO and AdWords fulfilment - you are the person we want.
  • You will be leading the other members of the team on all matters SEO and reporting to the clients on their projects and to the company directors on overall progress.

Requirements:

  • You will have a demonstrable track record of performing SEO ideally in a client- facing role.
  • You will have significant experience with AdWords.
  • Broad understanding of SEO practices and methodology, especially organic search.
  • Expansive knowledge of SEO tool sets and search analytics tools.

Language Requirements:

  • The majority of our SEO work is in English so native or very near native level of English is required.

The ideal candidate would also have:

  • Good Spanish and Catalan
  • Be or have been Google AdWords Qualified
  • Be familiar with Drupal, Joomla and WordPress
  • A sound understanding of web development methodologies, tools, languages etc.
  • Be well up on the latest trends in the industry.
