Accessibility

When speaking about accessibility we mean ease of access to a website. Not all people are the same and they don’t all use the same technologies so before we build your website we need to think about our target audience and plan well with them in mind

Special care must be taken to make websites accessible (understandable and usable) for:

  • Disabled people with visual, motor, hearing or cognitive impairment
  • Older people who may particularly need bigger text

People may use:

  • Desktop computers
  • Tablet computers
  • Mobile phones
  • A device with sound enabled or disabled
  • A fast or slow internet connection

When we build a website in the most accessible way we know, we maximise the number of people who can access your information independently of their personal limitations or the limitations derived from their use context.

It’s also worth noting that search engine robots are a special type of user whose limitations are well worth considering; the more considerate you are to the search engine robots, the better you are likely to rank in search.

Let us know your accessibility requirements, we'd be delighted to provide a quotation
